The idea
The best of Munnar is not visible from a car window.
It is visible at 5:30 in the morning.
A viewpoint gets you the photograph everyone already has. A dawn trail gets you a grassland ridge to yourselves, clouds below your boots and hot tea at the top — on routes our guides walk every single week.

Chokramudi, Pothamedu, Top Valley and Meesapulimala include car pick-up and drop within 2 km of Munnar town; Pothamedu can also run as a bike ride at ₹2,500 per person onwards (fuel not included). Meesapulimala: minimum 4 guests, breakfast and jeep travel on the mountain included — jeep pick-up and drop from Munnar is extra, ₹4,500 per jeep onwards. All trails: minimum 2 guests unless noted.

The Sunrise or Day Soft hikes in the Lakshmi hills. Gentle gradients, big views, 2.5–3 hours. You’ll want the next one immediately.
How fit do I need to be for Meesapulimala?
You should be comfortable walking uphill for a few hours. It’s a proper hike, not a stroll — and worth every step. Ask us honestly and we’ll advise honestly.
What do I bring?
Trainers or trekking shoes, a warm layer, water and your camera. We handle tickets and refreshments.
Are the prices final?
The table shows indicative per-person rates from our 2026 tariff. We confirm the exact price in writing before you pay anything.
