The idea
We kept meeting the same traveller.
Someone who came for Munnar, and left with a checklist.
We spent our working lives inside Kerala tourism — parallel careers in the same industry, building trips, running ground operations, learning which promises hold and which fall apart at the first rain.
Three viewpoints, one boat ride, a photograph at the tea-garden fence. Ticked, done, forgotten. It is an efficient way to see a place and a poor way to know one.
The Ghat Experiences is our answer. One company, four veterans, and a single door to the experiences we actually rate — tea estates that let you in, trails our partners walk weekly, villages that welcome guests, tables worth the drive.
